  • Early Summer: Still Good. If you missed spring, early summer is still a solid choice. You'll get plenty of dry days, which is super important for application and curing. Just keep those foggy mornings in mind – we might need to adjust start times to let things dry out a bit before we get going. We're certainly not going to apply stucco to a damp wall; that's just asking for trouble.

  • Fall: Use with Caution. Late summer into early fall can work for smaller jobs. But, you're starting to play a bit of a gamble with the rain, aren't you?   • Regular Inspections: You or your property manager should be doing a visual check at least twice a year. Walk around the building. Look for cracks, especially around windows, doors, and where different materials meet. See any dark streaks or discolored patches? That could mean water intrusion or algae. Catching these things early saves you a ton of money.

  • Keep it Clean: Algae and mildew just love our damp Oakland climate.
